My Life Experience
Thanks for sparing your time to read my first topic, I’m excited to write about my own life experiences as my first post.
I really have no clue how to write and where to start, but I wanted to write my story to make at least few people think about how difficult it will be, if you grow up without a goal and desire. At least if this could be an eye opener to few people then I’ll be the happiest person.
So, I planned to begin from my childhood……please bear with my English
I was born and brought-up in a small town, in a middle-class family, very simple life, but I wasn’t very interested in studies but very active in all other activities. We are 5 children and I’m the youngest, I hope you can imagine how the last child in a family will be pampered and unknowingly grows up without any goal. My parents, my sisters and brother always tell about my studies and importance of getting good scores. But I completed my studies with poor aggregates, chose a line or work within a fraction of a second and joined in a Govt. office at the age of 20, where I learnt how to respect elders, how to talk to others and most importantly I learnt to manage things in a smart manner.
So, when I finally entered a big Govt. organisation this helped a lot to make my mark. Where ever I worked and whatever project my superior gave, I completed it in given time with sincerity. Without realising I always gave myself two challenges, first, “I have to set my flag” and second one is “if the other person is doing, then, why can’t I?”, these two thoughts always took me to the top of my position. Within 5years time I got the opportunity to work directly under SE (Superintendent Engineer).
After completion of 20 years of work, I learned a lot of things in life. With two kids and growing expenses I planned to start a business for betterment, with a lot of hard work and effort, business was growing and running smooth, until it reached a level where I had to struggle as I chose a few wrong people in wrong positions and took a few wrong decisions. It hit my life very hard. One of the biggest clients cheated me at the same time. So, I’m back in the same position, with no business, no job and no money.
What I earned – “Nothing” and what I learned – “A LOT” (earned NOTHING & learned A LOT). My experience is my wealth. I never regret what I’ve done in the past and I never blamed anyone for my decisions.
Whatever I learnt and earned, I’d like to share my thoughts on this occasion, hope this may help someone’s life to change and to correct their business.
- The right person in the right position (take expert help in appointing higher positions, always take well experienced candidate in higher positions with decision making skills)
- Think twice before you take decision (I always praise a fast decision maker but sometimes it can be very expensive)
- In business “don’t trust anyone” and don’t take a decision until you have clear understanding about the issue.
- Start a company with a good accountant and when your company is growing then take one good finance adviser because their advice and support is very much helpful to keep the business alive.
- When someone is compelling you to take a fast decision, think twice or take expert advice (even though you are a master), one false decision will change your life, so better take time or rather reject the offer.
Also, I want to share few of my favourite quotes:
“Once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”
“Though nobody can go back and make a new beginning… Anyone can start over and make a new ending.”
“No matter how much suffering you went through, you never wanted to let go of those memories.”
“And then I felt sad because I realized that once people are broken in certain ways, they can’t ever be fixed, and this is something nobody ever tells you when you are young and it never fails to surprise you as you grow older. You wonder when your turn is going to be, or if it’s already happened.”
“Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.”
So after so much of experience I wanted to share these few lines to reach you, hope you all understand my English, also I will be expecting your comments.
Thanks and Regards…
